OHIO community invited to retirement reception for Patton’s Beth Lydic

After more than two decades of service to Ohio University, CFAO Beth Lydic will retire from the Patton College of Education on Friday, June 28.

In April 2001, Lydic began her OHIO career in the Dean’s Office at the Patton College of Education managing finance and HR related responsibilities. Spanning more than 23 years, her title changed from budget unit manager to financial and administrative officer, and finally to chief financial and administrative officer. Her tenure at the University included participation on the Administrative Senate, where she served a two-year term as chair. She also represented the college on numerous institutional committees.

In her retirement, Lydic is looking forward to keeping up with her garden and traveling.

The University community is invited to join the Patton College of Education in celebrating Lydic’s accomplishments and wishing her well in retirement on Thursday, June 27, from 2-4 p.m. in the Patton Hall First Floor Atrium/Foyer area.
